ZIP Code Change Report - January 1, 1990 to Present
This data file is a listing of all known ZIP code changes that affect delivery ZIP codes from 01-01-1990 to the present. It is updated 15-20 times per year upon receipt of information from the US Postal Service. W.E.R. monitors the U.S. Postal service Postal Bulletin for notification of changes in ZIP code boundaries. The information is added to the file just as soon as we learn of the change, thus the file may include information on changes that may not take effect for a few months. The listing includes the ZIP code number, the county name, state abbreviation, the effective date of the change, the number of the postal bulletin in which the change was published and a brief description of the change (e.g. ZIP Code XXXXX a new ZIP created out of a portion of ZIP XXXXX). Post Office Box only ZIP codes for which no population are associated are not included in this file.For one-time report prices, see the demographic reports price list.

Our ZIP code listing subscriptions provide a complete listing of all the ZIP codes in the U.S. including Post Office box only ZIPs and unique ZIPs (those ZIP's assigned to a single entity e.g. IRS). They are updated on a regular basis to keep up with any changes that may occur. Both include ZIP code numbers, county codes, county names, and preferred postal place names.
- ZL10: in order by ZIP code
- ZL11: in order by county (ZIP's are in numerical order within each county)

Our ZIP code delivery statistics provide a complete listing of all the ZIP codes in the U.S. including Post Office Box only ZIPs and unique ZIPs (those ZIP's assigned to a single entity e.g. IRS). They are updated on a regular basis to keep up with any changes that may occur. Both include ZIP code numbers, county codes, county names, preferred postal place names, number of Post Office Box patrons, number of residential deliveries, and number of business deliveries.
- ZL12: in order by ZIP code
- ZL13: in order by county (ZIP's are in numerical order within each county)

Our ZIP code metro listing provides a complete listing of all the ZIP codes in the U.S. including Post Office Box only ZIPs and unique ZIPs (those ZIP's assigned to a single entity e.g. IRS). It is updated twice yearly (January and July) to keep up with any changes that may occur. It includes ZIP code numbers, county codes, county names, preferred postal place names, MSA/PMSA codes, and MSA/PMSA names.
